We offer stable double kayaks perfect for beginners, and single kayaks for experienced paddlers. In warmer weather, we also have SUPs (paddleboards) available for short-term rentals.

Our rental shop operates from mid-May to mid-September. Please visit our booking page to view available dates.
WHO CAN RENT?
Double kayaks are ideal for beginners and families with children over 5 years old. A våtkort (wet card) is not required. Single kayaks are available exclusively to individuals with significant kayaking experience.
HOW TO BOOK?
For rentals up to 4 hours, no pre-booking is necessary. Simply show up at the beach during our operating hours, and one of our guides will assist you. For rentals longer than 4 hours, pre-booking is required. Double kayaks can be reserved through this webpage, while single kayaks must be requested via email.
WHAT TO WEAR?
In colder weather, we'll supply you with wetsuits and windproof jackets. It's advisable to wear a thin base layer underneath, avoiding cotton. Cotton tends to stay wet, making it uncomfortable and cold. Opt for quick-drying materials like polypropylene, thin wool, or fleece to ensure warmth and comfort. On sunny days, regular sportswear is suitable, but it's better to avoid cotton (again). Don't forget your hat and sunglasses. 😎 Regarding shoes, you can wear your own, as our guides will assist in getting you into the water and pulling you back after the tour, so no need to worry about wet feet.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Kayaking and safety equipment is all-inclusive. In colder weather, we provide wetsuits and rain jackets to ensure your comfort and safety. You can also borrow dry bags to safely bring along your belongings.

Your multi-day rental package includes:

a PDF guidebook for your reference where you can find a map with campsites and trails marked, also tips and tricks on packing and storing kayaks, rules and restrictions, and other important information;

WHAT'S EXCLUDED
Please note that your rental package doesn't include:

transportation from Gudvangen or any other location. If you wish to embark on a one-way journey, kindly contact us in advance to arrange transportation for a seamless and unforgettable fjord experience;

camping equipment. You can buy gas cans and other basics at the local grocery store. However, we recommend stocking up in a bigger town if possible.
